Random number between 1 and 282, page 8 of The Letter Q: Queer Writers' Notes to Their Younger Selves contains the beginning of Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cunningham's letter to his mid-twenties self.
The Letter Q is edited by Sarah Moon, published by Arthur A. Levine Books. Some of the authors I recognize in this anthology include Cunningham (Home at the End of the World and The Hours), Christopher Rice, David Levithan, Howard Cruse, Brian Selznick, Terrence McNally, Brent Hartinger, Armistead Maupin, Michael Nava, Paul Rudnick, Eric Orner, and David Leavitt. Big names.
On the front flap of the book jacket: "Through stories, in pictures, with bracing honesty, these are words of love and understanding, reasons to hold on for the better future ahead.
