Spending the holidays in bed, not in a good (sexy) way. Mostly confined at home and in bed due to my usual illnesses, one coming in after another, all making a particularly vicious last hurrah before 2018 closes. Spent Christmas Eve and Day feasting on crackers and water, with handfuls of medicines on the side. (Missed the last two working days too.)
In other "news," as Christmas Day went, I also realized it was the 200th anniversary of the classic solemn Yuletide carol, Silent Night, or Stille Nacht, the original German written by Joseph Mohr, and music composed by Franz Xavier Gruber, 1818 in Salzburg, Austria.
