Memory Served: 26 June 2015, Pasay City

After the SCOTUS victory of Obergefell v. Hodges, the joyous cries reverberated across the globe. And this image was one of the most jubilant, an octogenarian same-sex couple, who never thought that this day would ever come. "Hashtag may forever (#mayforever or #thereisforever)," we warmly humored other friends, especially those who allegedly were already hardened by the revolving doors of their intimate relationships. As a member of the LGBT community, this is inspirational. As a person in a long-term relationship, this is aspirational. Hope springs. Love wins.
